Essaouira Coastal Escape: The Windy City

Walk the Skala de la Ville, the sea-facing fortifications where canons still point out to the ocean. Wander the thuya wood workshops and art galleries. Head to the port to see the blue boats unloading their catch—sardines, eels, crabs. You can buy fish fresh and have it grilled right there. It’s a day of fresh air, seagulls crying, and relaxed vibes.
