You join our chef to shop for fresh vegetables, herbs, and spices. Learn how to pick the best produce, how to bargain like a local, and discover the secret spices of the 'Ras el Hanout'. Back at our traditional Riad cooking school, you'll be welcomed with tea before tying on your apron. Under the guidance of a 'Dada', you will learn the techniques of chopping, seasoning, and slow-cooking. You will prepare a main course (Chicken Lemon Tagine, Lamb Prune Tagine, or Vegetable Couscous) and a selection of classic salads. While the clay pots simmer over charcoal, relax in the courtyard. Finally, the best part: sitting down together to enjoy the feast you created, accompanied by fresh bread and wine (optional/if available). You leave with a full belly and the skills to bring the taste of Morocco home.
